Could you be Canadian?
Canada’s recent changes to citizenship law (Bill C-3) have opened the door for thousands of people to claim citizenship through their ancestors.
I am a Certified Genealogist® (CG®) and Accredited Genealogist® (AG®) specializing in research between Maine, New England and Atlantic Canada. I help clients document their eligibility for Canadian citizenship, and I am perhaps months away from receiving my own citizenship certificate.
How I Can Help
If you believe you may have a path to Canadian citizenship by descent, I can assist by:
- Identifying and verifying your line of descent
- Locating vital records and supporting documentation
- Analyzing evidence and resolving conflicts
- Preparing written proof arguments when required for your application
Fees
Research is conducted in project blocks:
- Initial Project Block: 15 hours
- Hourly Rate: $150/hour
- Initial Investment: $2,250 + direct expenses (e.g., document fees)
A 50% deposit is required to schedule projects. There is no charge for unused hours. Due to demand and schedule limitations, I am not available for briefer consultations.
Most projects are completed within 2-3 months, though timelines vary. Increased demand at archives and government repositories has led to increased wait times for records.
